Your opportunities

As a pioneer in higher education, ELSA – the European Law Students’ Association – offers you both academic and practical activities during your studies, including experiences abroad, international communication, organisation of projects and soft skills.

ELSA offers law students and young lawyers the unique opportunity to develop personally, to overcome prejudices and to discover their own internationality through intensive exchange on a European level, from the first semester to entry into professional work life.

Besides the fact that ELSA’s activities are useful to every law student, active involvement in the associations also allows you to gain experience in many areas that are relevant in the professional life early on, such as project management, negotiation techniques and teamwork.

Whether it’s participating in the largest German civil law moot court competition, traveling abroad for ELSA Law Schools or conferences, English-language competitions or contact with students from other universities in Germany and Europe – ELSA makes something of your studies!

“A just world in which there is respect for human dignity and cultural diversity.”
