The ELSA Germany Moot Court Competition (EDMC) is the biggest german moot court in civil law. It has been taking place since 1994 and as such looks back at a long tradition. The EDMC is being organized annually and consists of three rounds \u2013 Local Rounds, National Final Round and Federal Final Round.<\/span><\/p>\n The Local Rounds are hosted annually during the winter semester (October – March) by the local groups at their respective universities. The National Final round is usually taking place during May of the following year. During this round, all winners of the Local Rounds compete against each other. The best two teams from the National Final Round advance to the Federal Final Round in front of the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe.
