ELSA Germany

ELSA Germany is one of 43 national groups of “The European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), the largest association of law students worldwide. As the national group, we coordinate the German local groups at all 43 locations with over 12,500 members. Each of the local groups is an independent registered association with its own local board. The representatives of the faculty groups, in turn, elect the national board of ELSA Germany.

The premier decision-making body of ELSA Germany is the National Council, which comes together twice a year for the National Council Meeting. The national board, consisting of up to seven members, is responsible for the day-to-day business and coordination of the network.

ELSA Germany e.V. is a recognized non-profit organization that receives ideational support from its advisory board and both ideational and financial support from its sponsors.
